The herbal memory nectar of ajwain is especially good to open the channels of the digestive system and get the digestive fire going. When kledaka kapha is clouding the digestion, ajwain is a powerful digestive stimulant.
It is a very hot spice (virya is katu). Therefore you must be especially careful using it if you have high ranjaka pitta, pitta of the blood, usually associated with toxins in the liver. It is best to check with your SVA Health practitioner before using this herbal formula.
The herbal nectar drops are the safest way to deliver this spice to help stimulate the digestive system without heating the blood too much. However, even the drops should be used with caution if you have high ranjaka pitta.
