Product Description: The name, ashoka, begins with the sound, "a." In Sanskrit, this sound represents the unlimited field of energy and intelligence in nature, the field of consciousness, which is found pervading every molecule of the universe. In the same way, the sound "a" can literally be found in every other sound of the Sanskrit alphabet.
In Sanskrit, there is a deep correlation between sound and meaning. The fact that the name, ashoka, begins with the sound, "a" confirms the fact that this tree has a profound connection to the divine field of energy and intelligence in nature. It is by means of this connection that ashoka is able to remove grief from the sattwa (light of the soul).
Shoka means "grief". A - shoka means that the "a" value (the infinite energy and intelligence of nature which is lively in the Ashoka tree) is able to override the small points of grief that build up in the sattwa (light of the soul) and eliminate them. When light is brought in, the problems caused by darkness (tripping over furniture and bumping into walls) instantly disappear.
Ashoka flowers look like the light of the gem, like a morning rising sun. Almost tridoshic (mostly pacifying Kapha & Pitta), this tea is great for rehydration, excessive thirst and burning. Ashoka is targeted to the emotional heart and genitourinary tract and is particularly good for women. SVA Ashoka Tea uses Shoka Harini Ashoka from the bark of the Ashoka tree, a market plagued with fraud these days.
Choose between 16 fl. oz. and 4 fl. oz.

This formula is wonderful and another great way to get some Ashoka in your daily routine. I relied on the Arjuna and Ashoka Roll-Ons when dealing with a traumatic experience from my past, and this massage oil carries the same uplifting and soothing properties. Smells great and has magnesium, too!
