The shrotas, physical channels, in the body are given immense importance in Shakha Vansya Ayurveda. The Ayurvedic texts declare, shroto mayo purusha, "The whole body is nothing but shrotas."
Only when the channels are open, and free from acidic toxins can health be truly ideal. Only when the channels are open and balanced can nourishment reach deep into the body and can toxins be removed completely from the body.
Shroto-Shudhi Tea compliments Shroto-Shudhi Masala perfectly. The masala targets channels in the body which carry earthy soma (food materials) and, when cooked with oil in the food, the masala targets channels in the body which carry lipid soluble materials.
On the other hand, the tea targets channels in the body carrying liquid soma (water soluble materials). Both products open the channels and burn ama (partially digested food material) without aggravating amavisha (reactive toxins sitting in the body).
Allspice, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg, Mace, Black pepper, Green Cardamom, Ginger, White pepper.
Choose between 4 oz. and 2 oz. (loose tea)
Boil 1/2 tsp. of the tea for 3 minutes in 8 oz. water and sip slowly. Try to use after lunch and dinner.
Shroto-Shudhi Tea stimulates the whole body and opens the micro and macro channels. It is great when you have a cold, are feeling sluggish, or anytime in winter, or when the body’s shrotas (physical channels) are closed. Do not use if you have a medical condition without consulting your physician.
Use under the guidance of a Shaka Vansya Ayurveda practitioner. As with all herbs, please consult with your physician before using.
Do not use if you have very high metabolism (high pitta/ high agni). Try Vaidya Mishra's Pitta Tea instead.

as the name indicates, this is a channel opening tea, and the way i choose to use it is i put some in my homemade chai or with my Vaidyas cup, so i always have an extra channel opening boost, to keep colds etc. away. nice flavor , it enhances the tea i am making.
