Vaidya Mishra was personally extremely pleased with these eyedrops.  He called this formula Soma Netra Eye Drops with Organic Rose.  Formulated to cool off and pacify alochaka pitta and instantly restore freshness to tired eyes, he made these drops for a dear friend who was having constant dry eyes and sties. Nothing he had tried had given him relief. He was desperate. He came to see Vaidya Mishra, and Vaidya formuulated these drops for him and gave him a bottle.  He had immediate relief. The drops were then sent out to other friends and colleagues and received hands-down positive feedback. Upon that, Vaidya decided to make these drops available to all his SVA followers. Here’s what's in the formula. 

The main ingredient is a seed called Chakchusya.  Chakchu in Sanskrit means ‘eye’.  Ayusha means ‘healthy life span’.  Thus, chakchusya (chakchu + ayusha) means ‘which enhances the health and longevity of the eyes’. 

In addition, Vaidya's drops contain distilled organic rose petals to support chakchusya.  This synergy makes for an even more effective formula, because rose is the best ingredient to simultaneously pacify alochak pitta, vyana vata, sadhak pitta, and prana vata. cakṣuṣyā dṛkprasādā ca saiva proktā kulatthikā|

himā proktā kaṣāyā ca viṣaṁ sthāvarajaṁgamam|

Cakṣuṣyā - ‘the seed’.  Drk- ‘vision or sight’.  Prasādā - ‘gives clarity to the vision or sight’.

Himā – ‘cooling’.  Kaṣāyā - ‘astringent’.  Viṣaṁ - ‘toxins.’  Sthāvarajaṁgamam – ‘environmental toxins’.

To summarize the verse, it says that: this seed (cakṣuṣyā) cools the eyes, helps remove inner and outer toxins, and gives clarity to the vision. 

Ingredients

Total Soma Netra Eye-Drops (Vaidya Mishra’s proprietary blend) with Chakchusya and Organic Rose in a base of distilled water – organically preserved with SVA Pranic Preservation Technology.

Caution: Do not use if you have an active infection in the eye, or any known medical condition. Check with your medical first. Do not use if/when wearing contact lenses. May use after removing lenses.

Children: do not use on children ages 11 and below.

How to use it?

Directions

Place 1-2 drops of the liquid in each eye with the dropper.  Keep the dropper away from the eyes. Keep it clean and sterile by avoiding contact with any surfaces. Repeat as needed one or more time during the day and once before going to sleep at night. (Do not use more than four times per day.)  Keep in a cool dry place and avoid exposure to sunlight and extreme temperatures. You may refrigerate after opening, as we do not using any synthetic preservative which would destroy the pranic energy of the formula, however it is not necessary. Make sure you keep you eyedrops bottle in a cool, dark place.

    The drops clear and refresh the eyes. Wonderful product. Side note - it cannot be used with contact lenses, and since I wear those, I use the drops in the morning before, at least 5 min before I put in my contacts, and in the eve before bed. Love it

    I've been looking for a rose petals eyedrop since my favorite stopped being available at the drugstore...these are so much better. I noticed the lovely scent and the soothing effect immediately! The effect lasts during my work day which is partially spent at a computer and under flourescent lights. I'm so glad for the web and Google which helped me find your website.     has a lovely consistent rose smell, and i love the idea of nourishing these eyes that constantly work for me all day long. its soothing, cooling, and feels like the right thing to do for cleansing and helping my eyes to detox their stress.

    i've had eye problems for years and have resorted to using dry eye drops several times a day. When I saw this new eye product, I had to try it. Within ONE day i noticed a huge difference. My eyes were not feeling that dry irritated feeling which had been constant. It's been barely a week and I've hardly had to use dry eye remedies at all. This product is helping my eyes on all levels.     This eye drop is very soothing and has a lasting effect. I like the Skin Clay and Triphala Ghee too but if I had to choose just one product for eyes this would be it!
