I couldn't find green thai chilis in my town... so I purchased Spicy Mum's masala. The heat is perfect; and it seems to help most of the year without increasing my pitta. I love it.

I save this for occasional use, b/c I am such a Pitta prone physiology & i must not have too much spice in my regime, but especially when weather is getting colder I enjoy this. It has no
real adverse effect on me b/c it has green Thai
chilly in it, as opposed to red (too hot)chilly.
That little bit of green/somagenic effect balances the inherent chilly heat.I am thinking it helps to burn up some sluggish toxins sitting there.
